| Annotation | Gaby is 14 years old and hates school. He knows that every day he goes, Guille and his gang will make his life impossible: humiliation in front of his classmates, mocking and even beatings. The rest of the class doesn't react out of fear. Neither his family nor his teachers are aware of what is happening. Gaby takes comfort both in Carla, a friend from school whom he's in love with, and Silverio, an old pizza maker. Alongside the school and adolescent life, the life of the adults around them is also tarnished with fear. In the end, Gaby is fed up and decides to take action. He can't think of any more alternatives so he decides to listen to the advice of the pizza maker: an eye for an eye. Gaby is finally free, but he has paid a high price for it: he has learned that the World is a jungle where the strongest ones survive and there is no place for the weak. |
